room inspiration - 8 simple rules

Okay so I know this series is believe it or not almost 10 years old! but it will always be one of my favourites and also I just love the busy, typical teenage bedroom that all the american sitcoms have.

Kerry & Bridgets bedroom certainly has their personalities as they have divided their shared bedroom. Kerry has gone for the grunge theme with collages as decoration while Bridget has gone for the bright colours and girly nik-naks on her bookshelf.

The colour scheme is very varied as their personal items mix with eachothers but the colours compliment as they use shades of purple, pink, green and even orange. In their room they don't seem to use patterns which is probably why the colours compliment eachother (but mixing patterns can be done!)
